Tanya has always been interested in sport, fitness and movement. She believes that the mind and body are interwoven and that care for both is essential. That is the underlying basis for her interest in both the vigor of endurance sports and the vitality of yoga.
In pursuit of her passions she has studied dance with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, taught snowboarding in Vail, CO, and is an endurance sport athlete and coach. She earned a B.A. from the University of Minnesota in Dance and Public Health and an MBA in Small Business Entrepreneurship from California Lutheran University. She is a Certified Personal Trainer and a 200-hour RYT with the Yoga Alliance.
